Dianne comes from a military family located in the coastal area of  Virginia. She has traveled the world and has always been interested in art.

Her mother is a wonderful artist who inspired her from an early age to see things from an artist’s perspective.

When Dianne lived near colonial Williamsburg, she developed a deep sense of history and an attraction to colonial America.

Later, while raising her family in Delaware, she was attracted to Counted Cross Stitch. She opened a Counted Cross Stitch and Custom Picture  framing business in Hockessin. She met artists in her business and, at her mother’s encouragement, Dianne began to explore painting. She was drawn to  watercolors.

After moving to the Delaware coastal area, she started doing watercolors seriously. She concentrated on florals and coastal landscapes.

Dianne is a member of the Bethany Beach Watercolor Society, the Rehoboth Art League, Delaware Watercolor Society, Southern Watercolor Society, and the Art League of Ocean City. She has exhibited in many local business and shows. She is also a partner of Gallery One, located  in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
